OUR HOLIDAY IS BOOKED!!! Two weeks in Florida taking in as many theme park related activities as possible await next September and I can’t wait!
Sims 2 is really quite fun I got friendly with a bloke and asked him to move in with me and gained $50000 dollars into the bargain He does seem to be in love with 4 other sims tho and engaged to someone else…..oh well!

Had a good weekend, much needed after last week!
Spent the day with my parents on Saturday which resulted in a nice lunch in the Cowick Barton not far from where I live and a few new Winter-related garments Then spent Sunday largely playing The Sims/Sims 2 which are worryingly addictive it seems and obviously contain the gaming equivalent of whatever it is they put in Pringles that makes you unable to stop eating them!
Anyways, am now back in work and this week is already shaping up to be as hectic and disorganised as the last one ….leaving at 4 today though to go to the travel agents and get clued up as Kev and I are hoping to go to Florida next year Much saving up may result!

When someone tells you that something is ready to go to print, you’d think that it was pretty final as versions go wouldn’t you? Not, it seems, if you are a distance learning tutor :/ Still, going out for lunch today I think which will be cool
Asheron’s Call 2 is still managing to impress me (especially now I have learnt how the levelling works!) - I have a robe You can almost forget that it’s a mmorpg at times but had some good teaming action last night
Parents coming to visit tomorrow….mmmm - free lunch

Just discovered (with a little help from Kev) Asheron’s Call 2 and am currently (well, not literally as I am in work atm!) playing the free 15 day trial version. So far I am *very* impressed and may well end up subscribing but we’ll see how it goes It’s the closest thing I’ve seen to multiplayer Morrowind yet tho so I think I may be on to a winner

Hmmm…..played it for a bit more and found out that the key bindings only reset to default when it crashes which isn’t *so* bad I guess….the courier missions really are screwed tho :/ Not only do items disappear (only to reappear some time later after I had abandoned the missions) but it seems that if you take missions requiring the same type of item to be delivered, you end up giving all of them to the first person who requires them with no way of giving the others! I dunno…Kev seems to be getting something out of it through trading and crafting but atm its just not doing much for me…..Mebbe I’m being a bit harsh, who knows

Well, I didn’t end up playing Icewind Dale and instead spent til 4am playing Settlers IV I of course got annihilated by Kev, largely because I got so enthralled in building my pretty little houses and farms and watching the cute little men bustling about to build them and carry things that I completely forgot about the whole military thing :S As a result my settlement was about as well protected as a hedgehog in the middle of the M4 but hey - I must have had fun for it to be able to slyly steal those hours from my life without my knowledge!!
Might play some more Saga of Ryzom today

The original title of this post was Frustration+, but having just accidentally clicked ‘back’ on my browser and lost what I was writing, I thought the extra ‘+’ was warranted
Anyways, been playing the beta version of a new mmorpg today called Saga of Ryzom and I have to say that despite it being very playable with quite an addictive character development system (hence I’ve been playing since 2pm!) it is very *very* buggy (rebinding all my key bindings to default after crashing - not helpful!!) and what with it being almost due for release I don’t think I’ll be buying it
Didn’t go out for lunch today for the first time in ages (normally go to a local pub within cycling distance) but it was a nice change staying in today
About to be introduced to Icewind Dale now so will see what that’s like
