I love playing around with words – I always have. I am all about alliteration, potty for poetry, a sucker for synonyms… you get where I’m going with this, right?
English was one of my favourite subjects at school and I’d spend hours getting carried away on homework with little regard for the poor person who’d actually have to mark it when I handed it in. One ‘short story’ I wrote actually got split into sections and shared out amongst the English department as my teacher couldn’t face having to mark all sixty pages of it on his own.
(I’m still secretly rather proud of that…)
If there’s one thing I’m grateful to the A to Z Challenge for, it’s that it’s got me back into writing regularly again. I’ve really enjoyed it! And what’s more, people seem to have enjoyed it right back! I’d love to write a novel, or a sitcom or a play – I’d love to write a musical, but it’d have to be one without music and that kinda brings us right back round to the whole play concept…
Although, you know, if any composer out there happens to stumble across this and fancies being the Andrew Lloyd Webber to my Tim Rice, then hello and what do you want to write a musical about??
