Yes, it’s A to Z Challenge time again.
I’ve gone for a theme this time. Apparently this helps make blogging more focused and consistent and, as I found my ‘let’s just wing it and see what happens’ approach to last year’s challenge more than a little exhausting, I thought I’d give it a try.
My theme is….. wait for it…. ‘science fiction limericks’! Why ‘science fiction limericks’? Because science fiction is fun and limericks are short, mainly. It’s also a little bit silly and, between you and me, I like things that are a little bit silly…
First up – Admiral Ackbar of Star Wars fame (says she who only watched Star Wars for the first time two months ago… ) Why Admiral Ackbar? Because it rhymes with Death Star, mainly… never one to look a gift horse (or Mon Calamari, for that matter) in the mouth, me.
Imagine if Admiral Ackbar,
Whilst heading to take on the Death Star,
Had been taking a nap,
Not exclaimed “It’s a trap!”
And the attack had been managed by Jar Jar!
