Last week I went along to my first ever open mic night. My primary function was to sit back, relax and be an appreciative audience whilst Kev accompanied our friend and his kids for bits of their set, but I ended up having a bit of a sing too. I must admit, when I’d agreed to the possibility of singing a few days before, I hadn’t fully appreciated the enormity of what I was signing up to.
